The story and triggers warnings
The story follows Lazlo, a orphaned boy, with a dream.Ever since he’s been a boy he’s been obsessed with the lost city of Weep. We follow Lazlo as he grows into a young man. And by chance the opportunity to go to Weep presents itself for him. And he follows the Godslayer and his crew to the mystical city. But why was it cut off from the world? This book is just full of mysteries, so if you love that and a cozy atmosphere, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!
What did I like/dislike about the book?
So, I wasn’t prepared to love this book as much as I did. Everyone has been raving about it lately, and I finally reach for it from my shelves. And it was such a great experience. It was such a cozy and mysterious read and I had to savor the book. I read a couple of chapters each days instead of just devouring the book right away.
If you haven’t read this yet, I recommend that you do. It’s a great winter read!
